Although Saudi Arabia's performance at the previous Asian Cup was disappointing, they remain one of the best Asian teams. They comfortably finished among the two best teams in the previous round of the World Cup qualifications and will be among the main candidates for the top two places in the third stage, too.

Indonesia played well recently, as they lost only one of the last five matches. In the previous game, they won 2-0 at home against the Philippines. The home side controlled the match from the start and dominantly secured another victory.
