Two sides who are yet to suffer a defeat across all competitions this season go head to head on Tuesday as Torino play host to Empoli in the Coppa Italia second round.

Since finishing just one place above the drop zone in Serie A in the 2020-21 campaign, Torino have gone on to finish among the top ten in each of the last three seasons and they are on the right track to repeat that this season. Paolo Vanoli’s side began their campaign with a 2-0 win over Cosenza in the Coppa Italia first round at home. Having picked up two wins from their last three outings, they will fancy their chances of a win on Tuesday.

Empoli are also enjoying a great start to the 2024-25 season. The visitors kicked off their 2024-25 campaign with a 5-star performance in the Coppa Italia, where they defeated Catanzaro 4-1 and continued that form in the league, going unbeaten in their five games so far. The more exciting thing about this run is the fact that they faced the likes of Roma, Juventus and Bologna.
